Ice2L normally runs on a server at Con4Tech. All exercises are stored there. When a participant orders a course, he logs onto the Ice2L-Server and into the course via a web connection. The Ice2L windows then appears automatically on his workstation, right next to the CATIA V5 already running.

Training models can be directly loaded to CATIA V5 per mouseclick and then worked on with the corresponding commands. Numerous video sequences help the user to follow each step of the exercises. Returning to the starting position or any intermediate step is possible at any time, so interruptions or pauses during training do not pose a problem.

If the user encounters a problem or advanced question, he can communicate this online and then receives appropriate feedback. Updates of additional learning content in the form of new exercises, which are then available via a link, is also optionally available.
